A Hong Kong-Taiwanese singer, songwriter, and actor, Wang Jie was born on October 20, 1962. His music blends melancholy with rock, ballads, and blues. His hits include “A Game Of A Dream” and “Forget You Forget Me.” At 17, Wang moved from British Hong Kong to Taiwan. As a songwriter, he worked various jobs. It led to a successful career after his debut album sold over 500,000 copies. Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia charted him. His return to music in 1999 followed a brief hiatus. A vocal issue forced Wang to retire in 2018. Music lovers love his 26 Mandarin and 11 Cantonese studio albums.
