The Black Rock Bar & Grill offers Certified Angus Beef steaks cooked on volcanic rock heated to 755 degrees. Hot and juicy bites are ensured by Black Rock’s control of heat. We offer beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding landscape from Currents, our oceanfront restaurant with 90 seats. Breakfast and lunch may be enjoyed on our outdoor patio while enjoying the fresh ocean air. The ocean’s continuous, directional flow is reflected in currents.

2009: Black Rock acquires Barclays Global Investors (BGI), becoming the world’s largest asset manager and offering both alpha and index strategies under one roof.
2012: Black Rock launches iShares Core to provide broad market exposure in a low-cost, tax-efficient manner.
2016: BlackRock launches Aladdin Wealth to provide portfolio construction expertise and risk management tools to financial advisors.
2017: BlackRock deepens its commitment to Investment Stewardship, focusing on sustainable long-term profitability for clients.
2018: BlackRock opens its first AI Lab in Palo Alto to advance artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science to improve investment outcomes.
2019: BlackRock launches the BlackRock Retirement Solutions Group to address retirement challenges, with two-thirds of its assets related to retirement solutions.
