Description

Tender, juicy, and full of flavor, this 30-Minute Salmon Recipe is perfect for quick weeknight dinners. With a zesty lemon-garlic butter sauce and simple ingredients, it’s a healthy, restaurant-quality meal ready in no time!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (or a mix of basil, oregano, thyme)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Lemon slices (for garnish)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  2. Prepare the Marinade:
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.

  3. Season the Salmon:
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet. Brush or spoon the marinade evenly over each piece. Top with lemon slices if desired.

  4. Bake the Salmon:
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. (Internal temperature should reach 145°F / 63°C.)

  5. Serve:
Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm with rice, vegetables, or a side salad.

Notes

Make Ahead: You can marinate the salmon up to 1 hour in advance for extra flavor.

Variations: Try adding honey or Dijon mustard for a sweet and tangy twist, or top with a sprinkle of Parmesan before baking.

Serving Suggestions: Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or quinoa for a balanced meal.

Storage Tips: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
