Kneaders background and history
Three ingredients and a simple goal began our story in Orem, Utah, in 1997. We began baking artisan loaves in Italian hearthstone ovens after our founders mastered old-world baking techniques. The same time-honoured techniques are still used to make our famous hearth bread today. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and handmade pastries are all offered on our menu. Our mission has always included giving back to the community. Fundraising for children’s hospitals, supporting local schools, and alleviating hunger are a few of our main priorities.
We raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research every September in partnership with the Huntsman Cancer Institute. There is still a Kneaders Bakery & Café in Orem, Utah. Gary and Colleen Worthington continue to own and operate it. Worthington family members are involved in various roles at the company through multiple generations.
